Lynda McGuire
Julie Davidson has been an integral part of the Riverside team since 2012, faithfully serving alongside us before, during, and after we took ownership of the shop in 2017. Her longevity speaks not only to her dedication, but to the heart she brings to Riverside every single day.
Like many members of our close-knit team, Julie wears multiple hats—seamlessly shifting wherever she’s needed most. You’ll often find her thoughtfully merchandising the showroom, ensuring every vignette feels warm, inviting, and beautifully styled. She also spends her days assisting customers, offering product knowledge, design insight, and the friendly service that defines the Riverside experience.
If you notice a phone in her hand, there’s a good reason! Julie has a true “knack for tech” and plays a key role in managing our social media presence. Through Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms, she creates a virtual window into our showroom—sharing new arrivals, design inspiration, and behind-the-scenes moments. More often than not, she’s the one responding to your messages and answering your online inquiries with the same care you’d receive in-store.

Julie Davidson
Founder of Riverside Franklin. She is a fifth generation Williamson County Resident. Her roots run deep in Franklin, TN. Her passion for furniture and beautiful things began when she worked with her dad at Riverside Antiques. In the 18 years she worked along side him she learned the ins and outs of owning a small business.
In August of 2017 Lynda had the opportunity to purchase the family business from her dad. Riverside Franklin was born in the heart of Franklin’s historic district. Lynda operates Riverside Franklin as a furniture, home decor and design business. She has an amazing team working hard along side her.

When Lynda is not in the store, at market, looking for unique finds she enjoys time on the family farm with her husband Tom, their two sons Luke and Cole (his wife Amy) and their precious grandson Rowe.

Ethan Lamb is a designer known for creating spaces that feel effortlessly cool, comfortably lived-in, and distinctly personal. A relaxed, cozy modernism with a subtle Franklin edge.
At Riverside Franklin, Ethan brings together curated furnishings, statement lighting, and one-of-a-kind finds to craft interiors that are as functional as they are beautiful. He has a natural ability to mix materials, tones, and styles in a way that feels organic rather than overdone—spaces that invite you in and make you want to stay awhile.
Ethan believes great design goes beyond trends. For him, it’s about creating environments that reflect who you are and where you’re headed. Each project is approached with intention, collaboration, and a focus on atmosphere—because the right space shouldn’t just look good, it should feel good.
His philosophy is simple: it’s less about perfection and more about vibe. A well-designed room should be a place to gather, unwind, recharge, and feel inspired every time you walk through the door.
Sara is known not only for her exceptional design talent, but for the warmth and authenticity she brings to every project. Creative, approachable, and refreshingly honest, she has a natural ability to make the design process feel both inspiring and effortless. Clients quickly discover that working with Sara is as enjoyable as it is rewarding — a rare combination of visionary creativity and genuine kindness.
With an eye for detail and a talent for thinking beyond the expected, Sara creates interiors that are both distinctive and deeply personal. Her thoughtful approach ensures each space is beautifully layered while also enhancing long-term value.
In addition to her design work, Sara can often be found at Riverside Franklin throughout the month, assisting guests and sharing her expertise. Her bright smile and welcoming spirit are a gift to our team and community, and we are truly grateful to have her as part of the Riverside family.
